PEACOCKS

STAR
was an egg, given to me, by my
dear, sweet friend Bonnie, in Delray Beach, Florida,
who has 6 Peacocks.
Star was hatched and immediately abandoned by my
So, again, I became "mommy"
Whew....raising chickens is a whole lot easier than raising Peacocks.
Now, Star lives in the coop, with her chicken flock & Jack, her future
hubby.

JACK
Was given to me, as an egg, by local breeder, San Martin Poultry
Jack hatched on April 17th, 2007,
and was raised by my Mille Fleurs.
Jack is just starting to figure out that he's not a chicken.
I let Jack and his 'Rooster, dad, Sid, out of the coop, every morning.
And Jack is very content to have his "dad" outside with him, all day.
Not happy to be outside the coop, alone, he would spend all day trying to get back in.
When it's time to go back into the coop at the end of the day,
Jack is knocking chickens down, in his path, to get his bread treats,
and perch space
And here's Jack, doing what he does, best.
