Momma stuck her face in the mud.
Puffy, the Ultimate Alpha,
but, not too macho to take care of baby's.
Puffy takes his Alpha status very seriously.
Never off duty.
In all the time I have Puffy, I have only seen him dust bathe 2 times.
He's too busy standing guard, to bother himself with such things.
Play?
Never!
Always alert, always at attention and on guard.
Always the Alpha.
Nothing gets past Puffy.
Yet, I can pick him up for a snuggle anytime I want,
and he never protests.

the "house chicken"
My little girl wasn't feeling well one day,
so I took her into the patio, and when she was feeling better, just a few days later,
she had already decided that she didn't want to go back into the coop.
So, Momma lives on the patio.
I'm o.k. with that.
She's very happy, and I love having her here with me.
She'll go outside when the rest of the chickens are out,
as long as no one bothers her or tries to get too close.
Even if her hubby, Puffy tries to get near,
she comes running over to me to pick her up,
She doesn't like any of the chickens anymore!
She is spoiled,
and has me well trained.
That's o.k.
Momma is just awesome.
BUGSY
Is actually a Sizzle.
He is beautiful.
Wants to be the Alpha,
but Puffy wont let him.
He'll just have to wait his turn.
And, I think he has a long, long wait.
EFFIE
This is my Sizzle hen, named after Jennifer Holiday's character, in Dream Girls,
the Broadway Show, not the movie.
Effie & Bugsy are a pair.
I think I may allow Effie to hatch some of her eggs, soon.
